Liz is a 23-year-old graduate student. She is a competent person, so her professor always assigns work to her. In addition to taxing the academic curriculum and a lot of jobs from her professor, Liz is also a member of the student association. Therefore, there are always tons of work and homework for her to do. Although all works are difficult, she still enjoys learning new things and is not afraid of challenge.
However, Liz has some trouble with procrastination. The problem that bothers Liz the most is her poor time management. Because of tedious work and school life, she can’t arrange her schedule very well. Although she tried to use Google Calendar to improve her poor schedule management before, it didn’t work effectively. She only kept all the things she needs to finish on the calendar, but it wouldn’t actually be used.
The other problem trouble Liz is that she is used to putting off her work no matter before she starts working or during working. She always procrastinates the work until the last possible moment, and end up several work messing up at the same time. When she is working, she tends to be distracted. She is always distracted from work by watching YouTube videos or browsing through social media. Because of being unconcentrated, she always staying up late until midnight.
Liz wants to get rid of procrastination. She needs the service that can remind her not to procrastinate proactively and help her manage the schedule effectively. In addition, she needs immediate feedback which can urge her to keep concentrating on work. She wants to get rid of always working in haste to meet the deadline, and improve her working quality.

Bio
Foy is 22 years old graduate student who study in Institute of multimedia Engineering in the National Chiao Tung University, is an outgoing and sociable person.
He likes to play volleyball. If having free time, he will go to the court and make some friends by the way. Therefore, he has a lot of friends around him.
However, when talking about the homework or the course, he feels that he doesn’t have enough abilities to solve some problems and will take more time than other students. Because of his ability, he can’t estimate the time of completion for his assignments and always make him busy. Although he schedules what need to do in one day by some memo, he always doing one mission for a long time. The first mission will make the next mission delay. This situation happened repeatedly and everything drags off. If encountering difficulties, he will ask the other people for help. He thinks the opinion which from great abilities people will lead him in the right direction.
When feeling under pressure or can’t solve some problems, he tends to do something interesting to relax. Thus, this action will make him delay some important things, such as homework, project and exam. At this moment, he needs someone to remind him about his assignments or something important. If nobody doing this, he will drag off whole things. Lead to staying up late and feeling nervous until the day before the deadline. At this time, his working efficiency will increase much more than before but the side effect is hurting his healthy.
Foy wants to improve his abilities then doing anything more quickly. Also, he will not delay because of cannot solve problems and everything works fluently on his schedule. He doesn’t need immediate feedback from difficult things, such as gain money and scores. Just finish that and improve ability is the most important for him.

James is 24 years old master student who majored in Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Cheng Kung University. After a hurry and a busy first year of his master's degree, he has learned the skills of time management and has the ability to handle different tasks in his second year.
After many times of team-projects and cooperating experiences, he will finish things independently when he thinks about the task he can afford. When he cannot finish the things, he will ask people for help. He is a sincere person, having a great sense of responsibility, mature steady. He is able to motivate himself and pushing himself to work, even when it all seems challenging, boring, or tedious. He is a great self-communicator.
Having the experience of developing APP and side projects, he is also a technology lover. He uses Trello and Asana to manage his cooperating task with a teammate, and use google calendar and to-do list to manage himself.

Scenario 1
Liz
A new week is coming, Liz uses her phone to check the weekly schedule on the schedule App. This week is still stressful, her schedule is tight. There are a report, weekly reading feedback and a weekly meeting for Liz to finish. According to the deadline and estimated finishing time Liz records in advance, the schedule App helps her arrange the daily working timetable. The daily working timetable is presented by the Gantt chart, which can help Liz know when to start working clearly.

The schedule App reminds Liz to start to do the report five days before the deadline. The report will take her around three to four days to finish, she has to read the reference thoroughly at first and then organizes the content into a report. The schedule App manages a daily working timetable for Liz to follow. Liz will get the immediate reward if she follows the schedule. In order to get the reward, Liz works hard every day to reach the daily goal. In addition, Liz can keep up with the status of work through the schedule App, and always be aware of whether it is behind the schedule.

Before starting to work, Liz sets up a time limit she planning to spend on the report in the schedule App. She plans to spend three hours today on the report, and she can get additional rewards if she isn’t distracted from the work. During working, she feels tired and starts watching a video on YouTube to take a break. After watching a video for fifteen minutes, the schedule App starts to ring and notices her go back to work. She ignores the phone ring in the beginning, but the alarm keeps going off every five minutes. In order to avoid the deafening sound keeping ringing and the reward being reduced, she goes back to work and finishes the daily workload finally.

With the assistant of time arrangement by using the schedule App, Liz won’t procrastinate anymore. She reviews the working performance this week, she feels a great sense of achievement. Because of being matching the schedule, she doesn’t need to stay up late at night. Furthermore, she can enjoy a wonderful weekend. A whole new week is coming, she uses the schedule App to plan for the schedule next week.

Scenario 2
Foy
Foy has three classes and two regular meetings in this semester. This week he has homework for each course and needs to prepare for the meeting. Foy takes his phone and opens the schedule App. He chooses the homework option and fills the homework name, class name, deadline time and brief description for each assignment that should be done. Also, he chooses the meeting option and enters the meeting name, meeting property, deadline time and briefly description.

When clicking the finish button, this app will estimate how much time does it take for each event according to the previous schedule experience. All the events show in the app and with the time to finish it. Then Foy separates some event into small missions and clicks the next button.

Some events are provided some reference to each small mission. These events also have time to finish it. Which are not separated have reference and time as well. All events attribute and its related information represented in the frame. Next, Foy clicks next button.

The phone screen shows a calendar and all event frames are below. Foy chooses which day he wants to assign the event and click that day. The screen shows the day with a time axis just like the google calendar. Foy drags UCD1 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and drags Machine Learning3 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
However, there is a friend of him having the same homework as him, and also this friend is using this App. So he links this homework’s schedule with his friend, then the App will refer his friend’s schedule and apply it to his schedule. Moreover, this App not only reminds them individually, but also reminds them to remind and supervise each other.

After dragging all the events into the calendar, it is 1 p.m. now. Foy needs to do the UCD course homework. During this time, he takes the reference from this app and does it fluently. He thinks it maybe takes more thirty minutes then he can finish this event. So, he decides to take a break and watch some videos on YouTube. After watching for fifteen minutes, the phone ringing. This ringing is from the schedule app. It reminds Foy about his UCD homework. There are two buttons on the phone screen. One is “Do it now”, one is “Wait for me later”. If Foy clicks “Wait for me later”, the phone will ring every five minutes. It is a kind of interruption for him to watch the video. Thus, he clicks the “Do it now” and carries on his UCD homework.

Scenario 3
James
Recently, James suffers from insomnia and under great pressure of finishing his master thesis for graduation.
Every day, he wakes up immediately and lists his to-do list about his master thesis, but he realizes that that might not be meaningful. “I don’t know if my professor will agree with this topic.” But he needs to schedule it to make his professor happy.

He has a never-shrinking to-do list. More time goes into producing and preparing his task list or to-do list. He spends a lot of time organizing dates and details about his topic, sub-goals, experiments. The list seems to grow and grow, but very few tasks are actually getting checked off. How achievable are his goals, and are they clear and easy to understand/break down? Lake of experience, he cannot set a clear and reachable goal and answer these questions.

In a routine meeting every week, he needs to prepare a slide to introduce the roadmap of his graduation paper. He suffers from great anxiety, especially when it comes to making decisions. Which experiments and user studies should be a priority? What should he start now? How long will it take him to complete this topic of thesis? Will he be able to get through this? What if, there is great guidance to tell me if my method will work before the routine meeting?

When he thinks of these questions, he has no answer and makes him unwilling to finish the slide. He put off the things, try to find meaning in his research, talk to his lab colleagues and end up with no conclusion. The routine meeting every week is arriving, then he discovers that he has little time to finish the routine meeting.
